Paint & Sip, Team Building and Party FAQ:

What do I bring to Class?

We provide all the art supplies required for all programs.

What should I wear to the studio?

We will provide aprons to protect your clothing but strongly recommend that you wear something comfortable and appropriate to enjoy the creative process.  Acrylic paints on clothes must be cleaned immediately or they will dry permanent.  Art & Beyond is not responsible for paint on clothes, purses or other personal belongings.

When do I arrive?

Paint & Sip sessions start promptly and you should plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.  If you are running late, please contact the studio at 770-954-6102.  If you cannot arrive within 20 minutes of your start time, you will be asked to reschedule.

For a BYOB Paint and Sip session, what is acceptable to bring to class?

All adults over 21 years of age are welcome to bring any beverage, snack and food of their choice to consume during the art session. Clients are also responsible for bringing their own cups, plastic preferably. A&B is a SMOKE FREE Studio.

Adults are completely responsible for making safe and proper decisions when consuming alcohol.

What if a Paint & Sip class is cancelled?

We work very hard to fill every class so cancellations won’t occur, but in the rare case when a class may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment you will be notified as soon as possible and issued a full refund or rescheduled.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:

We are happy to reschedule your Paint & Sip event to a more convenient date with at least 24 Hour Notice.  Party and Event rescheduling require 48 hour notice to reschedule or issue a full refund.  No-Showing & last minute cancellations will result in loss of payment and is also subject to a rebooking fee.

Can my child attend a Paint and Sip evening session?

Evening Paint and Sip sessions are designed to provide a mixed instruction-entertainment experience for adults who are looking for an evening of creative relaxation with fellow fun-seeking adults. Evening Paint & Sessions are for painters 17 years and older. Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon Paint & Sip sessions are open to most family members starting at age 6 years old.

Youth Class & Camp FAQ:

What do I bring to Class or camp?

We provide all the art supplies required for ALL youth projects and programs including aprons.  After-School artists and Campers should bring a healthy snack(s,) lunch and beverages for snack and lunch break times.  Teens and adults who participate in our advanced workshops may be required to purchase supplies that will be identified in advance in a list included in the class description.

What is the youngest my artist can be?

Our camps and classes are designed for Ages 6 and up.  If you have a Kindergarten aged artist, please contact the studio to discuss.

What is our Tax #ID:

Our tax ID number is 47-1612757. This number is also on your email confirmation. Please keep this confirmation for your records. This can act as a receipt for your flexible spending account or child care tax credit. If you lose your receipt please contact the studio.

How long are classes and camps?

Class duration will be posted in each class description and vary from 1 hour to 3 hours.  Paint & Sip sessions are 2½-hrs.  Signature events and workshops are typically 3-hours.  Half-Day School Break and Summer Camps are 3-hours and full-day camps are 6-hours.

Pick Up and Drop off of Children for Art Classes, School Break Camps and Summer Camps:

It is every parent and caregiver’s responsibility to drop off and pick up their student at the front of the A&B studio in a timely fashion. We recommend you drop off your student at least 10 minutes prior to class so she/he can be prepared to begin class promptly. Pick up should be immediately after the end of each class session.  Late Pick Up Penalty fees may apply for excessive tardiness.

Student Behavior Policy

To ensure a pleasant artistic experience for all of our students, we ask that they honor the following Student Behavior Policy:

  • Students are expected to treat the faculty, studio and fellow students with respect.
  • Students are to arrive with open minds and a willing heart to engage enthusiastically in the creative process.
  • Students who consistently are disruptive in class may be asked by the instructor not to return; no refund will be issued.
